A brief note

Because I am so incredibly slow (39 days this time) at posting to this blog, I doubt anyone is looking at it. But just in case, here is a quote from Mike Moore in the wake of the horrible Colorado massacre early this morning:

"In one year, GUNS murdered 35 in Australia, 39 in England & Wales, 194 in Germany, 200 in Canada, & 9,484 in the United States.”

And this from NYC mayor Mike Bloomberg:

"Soothing words are nice, but maybe it's time that the two people who want to be President of the United States stand up and tell us what they're gonna do about it. There's so many murders with guns every day, it's just got to stop. No matter where you stand on the Second Amendment... we have a right to hear from both of them concretely... what are they going to do about guns."
